But I am pretty sure that Ooma has always been 10-digit dialing "behind the scenes," as I recall one of the setup parameters (when I ported over to Ooma three years ago) was whether I as a caller wanted to require dialing the area code or allow the Telo to fill in my area code for my phone number. And if it is not the Telo filling in the area code, depending on how "smart" the phone is that you are using, it could be a parameter you can select on that device as well.
